KENTUCKY HORSEWEAR TAKING PROTECTIVE HORSE BOOTS INTO THE 21ST CENTURY!

Kentucky Horsewear was established back in August 2010, yet it is rapidly becoming the 'must have' brand, for protective horse boots across all disciplines. With a growing band of top international riders riding, training and competing in the boots, including international names such as Bettina Hoy, Eiken Sato, Lars Nieberg, Harrie Smolders, Shane Breen and UK event riders Francis Whittington and Laura Collette, the company already sells its collection throughout Europe, the USA and Australia.

The name is a licence of the famous German clothing brand Kentucky Reitmoden established in 1961. Both companies are run separately and only share the same brand name/logo and distribution network worldwide. The Kentucky Horsewear offices are based in Belgium, under young entrepreneur, Kentucky Horsewear owner and MD Thomas Tuytens' watchful eye.

Marina demonstrates a few different ways to get your horse's correct bit measurement. For more information and other in-depth how to's please visit us at www.ridingwarehouse.com/

1:11

Measure your horse for the correct blanket size by following these easy guidelines:

• Stand your horse square.
• Place your measuring tape at the center of the chest.
• Lay the tape across the widest part of the shoulder and hip, at an angle towards the tail.
• End your measurement where the tail hair begins.
• This measurement in inches is your blanket size. If your horse measures in between sizes, round up to the next size. (example: 79" = Size 80 horse blanket)

Measuring your horse correctly will help avoid rubbing and shifting, plus the inconvenience of bulky shipping and returns.

Well fitted blankets make happy horses!
