Turning Out the Studs 2016 at the R.A. Brown Ranch

Have you ever wondered what it was like when we "turned out the stallions" at the beginning of the breeding season. Here's a great example of what it's like on the R.A. Brown Ranch near Throckmorton, TX. We not only foal out in the open but we also pasture breed. The mares are divided into groups and the studs are then added to the different paddocks. Here's two of our resident stallions, twenty year old Colonel Jazz is the experienced one. Next in the video is a three year old, Take A Pick, who has quite a harem. Enjoy one of our favorite times of the year.
